  4. This directory contains various header and code files that are
  5. used make Mindy compatible with various releases of UNIX and UNIX-like
  6. systems.  Typically, files from this directory are used to compile
  7. Mindy when a system doesn't contain the corresponding files or when
  8. they are known to be incorrect.  When the whole world becomes POSIX-
  9. compliant this directory should be unnecessary.
